Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of saurly.com (the "site"). Saurly is now part of Aresiant Inc. ("Aresiant", "we", "us"), a company based in Ontario, Canada, which operates the site.

By using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What this site is

Saurly is now part of Aresiant. This site announces that, introduces the Saurly crew and lets you join a waitlist for Saurly's return. It is not an offer to provide services.

Any work Aresiant does for you is governed by a separate written agreement, such as a proposal, statement of work or master services agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement takes priority for the services it covers.

2. Who can use the site

Anyone may browse the site. To join the waitlist you must be at least 16 years old and give your own email address.

3. The builder demo and sample apps

The builder on this site is an interactive demonstration. It does not build, host or deploy a real app, and nothing you type into it is saved.

The businesses and apps shown in the demo and in our films are fictional, including Crumb & Co, PulseFit, Mia & Theo, Teamboard and Northwind. Any resemblance to a real business is a coincidence.

Web addresses (such as name.saurly.com), test counts, timings and features shown on the site illustrate how Saurly is designed to work. Example addresses are not reserved for anyone, and none of this is a commitment. It may change before Saurly relaunches.

4. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free. It does not:

• create an account;
• reserve a name or address;
• guarantee access, features, pricing or a launch date.

We may relaunch some, all or none of the features shown. You can leave the waitlist at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone's rights;
• sign up other people without their permission, or submit sign-ups using automated tools;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems;
• interfere with the site's operation, including by sending spam, malware or automated traffic intended to overload it;
• copy, scrape or reuse substantial parts of the site for a competing service.

6. Intellectual property

The site and its content are owned by Aresiant or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. This includes the Saurly name and logo, the crew characters Rex, Lumi, Tank and Pip, the films, animations, illustrations, the arcade game and the code. "Saurly" and the Saurly crew are trademarks of Aresiant Inc.

You may view the site and share links to it for personal or internal business purposes. Any other use, including using the logo or the characters, requires our written permission.

7. Copyright and trademark complaints

If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, email hello@aresiant.com and include:

• what the work is;
• where it appears on the site;
• how we can reach you;
• a statement that your complaint is accurate and that you own the rights or are allowed to act for the owner.

We will review it and respond promptly.

8. Ideas and feedback

We'd love to hear what you want from the new Saurly. If you send us ideas or feedback, you agree we may use them without any obligation to you. Please don't send confidential information unless we have first agreed in writing how it will be protected.

9. Third-party links

The site links to other websites, such as aresiant.com. Links to sites we don't operate are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

10. Changes to the site

We may change, suspend or discontinue the site, the demo or the waitlist, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also restrict access for anyone who breaks these terms.

11. Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aresiant will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. The site is free, and our total liability for any claim about it is limited to CAD $100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under consumer protection laws such as Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Aresiant against claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms. This doesn't apply to the extent consumer protection laws prohibit it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the site will be resolved by the courts of the Province of Ontario. If the mandatory consumer protection laws of your province or country give you the right to bring proceedings where you live, you keep that right.

15. General

• These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
• If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• If we don't enforce a right right away, we haven't given it up.
• We may transfer these terms as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. You may not transfer your rights under them.
• These terms are written in English. Any translation is provided for convenience, and the English version applies to the extent the law allows.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when Saurly relaunches. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
